Here’s a bit about how the private sessions work:

• We meet on a weekly basis 

  • Sessions are 50 minutes in duration

  • The sessions can either be in-person (Miami) or online (videoconference)

  • You have the option of taking one session per week (valued at $75) or two+ sessions per week (valued at $50 each)*

* I am currently offering a 15% discount for those who would like to commit to a period of three consecutive months of lessons, paid up-front.

• The content and format of the sessions will be customized to meet your specific needs

  • During our first session we will define your goals and go over your personal preferences. This will help me tailor the content and design a program for you that is highly engaging, super-fun and relevant to what you’d like to learn, specifically, within the desired time frame.

• In between sessions you will have tasks and activities to help you keep the learning fresh, such as watching videos or movies, listening to music, fun exercises, etc. This will allow you to integrate the new learning more quickly while you advance toward your goal.

• Periodically you will receive information via email that is relevant to our work together.

 

To make the most of our time together 

• Bring a notebook and/or your preferred format for taking notes comfortably

• Turn off your cell phone

• If we’re meeting online

  • Make sure you’re in a comfortable and quiet space where you will not be interrupted 

  • I invite you to brew yourself a delicious drink of your choice

 

Process for booking sessions and Cancellation policies

1. To schedule your session, please make a deposit of the amount feasible for you (keeping in mind that individual lessons are valued at $75) through Venmo: @cafeculture or Zelle: cafe.culture.languages@gmail.com

   • Venmo is the preferred payment method but do let me know if you require a different payment method (transaction fees would be added to the total)

2. Please send the payment confirmation via email, along with a couple of options of preferred times for our first session, or you can select your preferred time slot using this link: https://calendly.com/cafe-culture-languages/conversation-practice

3. Once payment has been confirmed, your session will be scheduled and also confirmed

4. The program is designed in such a way that the work we do during each session is complemented and reinforced by the interactive materials at home; and we can continue making progress during the following session.

5. Sessions can be canceled up to 24 hours before the start time of the session. Once the confirmed time for the session is reached, the appointment starts running and the waiting time is 15 minutes. The appointment is already charged.

 

* In case of an emergency, notify me as far in advance as possible, prior to the scheduled start of our session, so that it can be rescheduled for another time in the same week
